It wasn’t something my family made at home, so every slice felt rare and special, a treat that carried warmth, comfort, and the quiet joy of being thought of. That simple act stayed with me.

Years later, my own health journey led me to remove gluten, dairy, and eggs from my diet. But when I went looking for banana bread I could enjoy, it was hard to find something that felt like the real thing.
